This Payment Policy explains how payments are taken for orders placed at premierlifehardware.com.
1. Currency and prices
All prices are shown and charged in pounds sterling (GBP). Where VAT applies, consumer prices include VAT unless the product page or checkout clearly says otherwise. Any delivery charge that applies is shown before the customer submits the order. Premier Life Hardware does not add an undisclosed handling fee at checkout.
2. Accepted payment methods
Premier Life Hardware accepts Mastercard, Apple Pay, Visa, Google Pay, American Express, Discover and Diners Club.
The payment methods shown at checkout may depend on the device, browser, billing location and availability of the relevant payment provider. Apple Pay and Google Pay require a compatible device and an eligible card saved with the relevant wallet.
3. When payment is taken
The customer must provide complete and accurate payment and billing information. When an order is submitted, the payment provider may authorise the full order value immediately. The payment may be captured at checkout or shortly afterwards, depending on the payment method and fraud checks.
An order acknowledgement confirms that the order has been received; it does not by itself mean that the order has been accepted. Order acceptance is explained in the Terms of Service.
4. Payment security
Payments are processed through secure third-party payment services made available through the Shopify platform. Premier Life Hardware does not receive or store the customer's full card number or card security code. Payment providers may use security checks such as address verification, card verification and 3D Secure authentication.
Customers should never send full card details by email.
5. Payment checks and declined payments
Premier Life Hardware may pause or cancel an order where payment is declined, cannot be verified, appears unauthorised, or requires further information for fraud prevention. If further verification is needed, Premier Life Hardware will contact the customer using the details supplied with the order.
A bank or card issuer may place a temporary authorisation hold even when an order is not completed. The timing for releasing that hold is controlled by the bank or card issuer.
6. Failed or duplicate payments
If checkout appears to fail, the customer should check for an order confirmation before trying again. If two confirmed orders were created by mistake, contact support@premierlifehardware.com promptly with both order numbers. Premier Life Hardware will review the transactions and, where appropriate, cancel and refund the duplicate order if it has not been dispatched.
7. Billing enquiries
For a payment query, email support@premierlifehardware.com and include the order number, the name used at checkout and a short description of the issue. Do not include full card details.
Support hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM GMT/BST (UK time), excluding England bank holidays.
